Drive Event Specialist

As part of out Marketing Department, and reporting directly to our Drive Experience Manager, the Drive Event Specialist plans and delivers consumer facing drive experience tours and events to meet defined brand and commercial goals.
The role will develop the consumer experience and define drive content appropriate to target audience, vehicle class and business needs.
The Drive Event Specialist, working with agency partners, is responsible for drive event planning, operations, resourcing, budgeting and metrics reporting.
A background in delivering engaging consumer experiences, managing agencies/vendors and a good understanding of vehicle dynamics, driving techniques and driver safety are essential.
Main Responsibilities
Drive program development and implementation:
Planning and delivery of brand appropriate consumer facing driving events
Development of effective consumer engagement & drive content to demonstrate specific vehicle attributes and support different stages of the product and consumer lifecycles
Develop and manage high performance delivery teams via agency partners
Support identification of opportunities for new programs
Operations:
Plan and deliver on track, road and off road programs including consumer flow, driving, technical and consumer facing program content
Plan and manage resources and utilization drive tour/venue assets and vehicles across multiple locations
Liaise with JLR Marketing functions, agencies, venues and suppliers for successful experience delivery
Develop team spirit and positive staff engagement
Develop and implement best practice operations guidelines that include participant experience, drive program governance, consumer facing requisites, staffing, fleet and asset management, reporting, and risk management and preparedness
In conjunction with JLR Drive Experience Manager, identify and appoint agency partners and vendors.
Forecasting and Reporting:
Maintain reporting dashboard for program ROI
Accurately forecast costs and deliver programs to budget
Monitor and report costs, revenues, vehicle and asset utilization and seek continuous improvement
Regular program review, assessment and experience industry benchmarking
Forecast and plan for future growth requirements and work with the JLR Drive Experience team to meet resource needs
Perform Other Duties as required.
Key Criteria for Role
Bachelor's Degree
A minimum of 5 years of experience delivering consumer facing experiences
Experience in agency and partner management
Strong knowledge of cars, vehicle dynamics and driving techniques
Ability to lead cross functional teams and lead others
Strong problem solving skills
Customer service handling skills
Organizational and project planning skills
Financial literacy and budget management
Fluency in MS Windows and Office suite including Excel and PowerPoint
Clear and effective written and verbal communication and strong interpersonal skills
Valid driving license/ clear driving record
Advanced driving qualifications is desired
Ability to travel 50%
(Position is based in Mahwah, NJ, but successful candidate should anticipate extensive travel)
