About Applications Development at UPS Technology:

Our Application Development teams use their expertise in programming languages and software design to develop next-generation technology. They are responsible for developing the applications which track and move up to 38 million packages in a single day (4.7 billion annually). This team works closely with all of our customers to build innovative technologies that are customized to drive our business and provide the ultimate customer experience. As an application developer, you will help UPS grow and provide valuable services across the globe.

About this role:

The Senior Applications Developer provides input and support for, and performs full systems life cycle management activities (e.g., analyses, technical requirements, design, coding, testing, implementation of systems and applications software, etc.). He/She participates in component and data architecture design, technology planning, and testing for Applications Development (AD) initiatives to meet business requirements. He/She collaborates with teams and supports emerging technologies to ensure effective communication and achievement of objectives. This position provides knowledge and support for applications development, integration, and maintenance and provides input to department and project teams on decisions supporting projects.

This exciting role will help lead the Implementation of a new system that will use the customer and/or individual domain of IBM's Infosphere MDM Advanced Edition and Collaborative Edition (CD). Hands-on technical knowledge of master data concepts, processes and organizational support models and tools including Data Profiling, Data Quality, Data Governance, Data Modeling, and Data Integration is required. Experience with; IBM Infosphere:
MDM Advanced Edition, Collaborative Edition (CE), Advanced Platform Tuning, and IBM Information Services (IIS) required. Your experience in; translating business needs into master data solutions utilizing process flows and data flow techniques, creating technical design and specifications based on business requirements will be leveraged to build a new state of the are contact and prospect mastering process.

You will be required to integrate the MDM products with other systems. Design and Develop data integration solutions using IBM Data Stage and Microsoft SSIS. Data Integration, Extract, Transform, and Load (ETL), Web services (esp. RESTful Web services). Implement composite services, data and service mapping and performance tuning on MDM. Implement database-level application functionality such as stored procedures. Understand use of customer applications built on IBM's MDM platform and out of box capabilities of the IBM MDM platform for the Individual domain. Java development background in support of the IBM MDM product set with RSA/RAD, MDM Workbench, SOAP Web Services, XML, XSD, WSDL.

Minimum
Qualifications:

  • Experience with Mastering of data
  • Experience with SQL Language, SQL Programming, XML, SQL & PL/SQL
  • Advanced knowledge of Infosphere MDM Business Process Analysis

Preferred
Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
