Staff Counsel
The candidate works closely with colleagues in the Legal Department and with various business and functional units on a board range of commercial matters. Serves in drafting, editing, negotiation contracts and proactively handling various transactional matters through to completion (includes product development, confidentiality, research, consulting, agency and distribution agreements). Serves in supporting development and improvement of contract templates and contracting processes; and, assisting on other matters as needed. Should have a J.D. degree with strong academic credentials. Must preferably have 1-2 years of experience in law firm or corporate legal department healthcare, life sciences, or intellectual property experience. Should have strong prior work experience.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
