The Store Communications Specialist position requires creativity, energetic drive, combined with the ability to multitask and prioritize. This position is responsible for the day-to-day field communication activities and ensures that clear and accurate written communication to our field team is achieved.

Translate creative vision into written communication.
Provide written instructional communication to field associates that is concise, organized and clearly states the objective to the reader.
Offer a creative approach to problem solving, be team oriented and exude a proactive attitude.
Determine the optimum communication vehicle for communicating information to the field organization.
Work on multiple projects with minimal supervision and meet aggressive deadlines.
Identify and implement process improvement opportunities on an ongoing basis.
Inspire others in communications planning, writing and graphic design.
Handle immediate action communication needs with appropriate balance of accuracy and urgency by effectively managing email and communication queues.
Maintain communications calendar and ongoing planning resources.
Build and manage relationships with all business partners to deliver established short term and long term project/initiatives
Act as a field advocate in all interactions with SSC business partners about store-related projects; garner support, align on responsibilities and timelines and hold business partners accountable for project contributions.
The ideal candidate will possess:

Bachelors in Communication, English or Business preferred
Excellent written and verbal communications skills including ability to communicate effectively to all levels of management and with peers
Knowledge of proper grammar, spelling and punctuation
Excellent proofreading and editing skills
Extensive understanding of store operations within a complex Retail environment; Retail store experience a plus
Proven track record in providing a high level of internal customer service with an exceptional level of professionalism
Ability to think and react in a high energy, fast pace environment
Excellent time management, multi-tasking and organizational skills
Proficient in the basic knowledge of Mac, Word, Excel, Photoshop, InDesign
Writing Samples are a plus

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
