Please note that this is a HYBRID position based out of our office in Mahwah, NJ, This person will be required to work onsite at least 5 consecutive days out of the month.
Amare's Staff Accountant is responsible for assisting in creating accurate and timely financial records for the organization.
Additionally, you will:
Prepare month-end journal entries and review account balances for accuracy.
Create and review financial statements for our US entity.
Prepare and analyze assigned cash and balance sheet account reconciliations monthly.
Research and reconcile discrepancies and recommend actionable solutions.
Review monthly GL detail reports for accuracy; send monthly P&L reports to department managers for review and comparison to budgets.
Create templates for reconciliations for financial reporting and internal controls.
Identify and implement ideas for process improvements and cost saving projects.
Ability to take a lead role in supporting department with special projects as needed.
RequirementsMinimum of five (5) years of experience working in accounting.
International, audit or tax accounting experience is a plus.
Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
Direct Sales experience preferred.
Proficient in Microsoft Office 365 with emphasis in ExcelFamiliarity with SQL and SAP ByDesign is a plus.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
