Medical Technical Support SpecialistOne of our clients, medical devices and services company is looking for an enthusiastic Biomed Technical Support Specialist.
Must be authorized to work in US for ANY EMPLOYER No H1b Visa support for this position.
The Location is Northern New JerseyPermanent position with great benefits.
Hybrid Commute ( 2 weeks in the office and every 3rd week is working from home) Medical Technical Support Specialistresponsible for providing technical assistance to customers, sales, service, distributors, and clinical specialist's on assigned products.
The specialist is responsible for generating and reviewing technical documents as required.
Must communicate well with all levels of engineering, manufacturing and quality personnel regarding corrective action for field problems and new product development.
Anesthesia Biomeds would probably be the best fits RoleProvide telephone support to customers, sales, service, distributors, and clinical staff.
Create and review technical documents for the installation, preventative maintenance, and repair of Anesthesia machines, Ventilators, and related equipmentAssist with investigating product issues - formulate and/or assist other departments in corrective action.
Assist with Biomed service trainingRepresent the Service Department on Project Teams for new and existing products and complete required tasks.
Document all activities and provide timely reports to management.
Provide on-site assistance to service force and customers as required in support of company's products.
Generate Cases to track Technical Support activity for calls.
Attend training as required.
Requirements and SkillsBA/BS Degree or Technical Degree preferred and at least 2 years' experience in Biomedical, Electrical Engineering or Computers.
Assist with the troubleshooting and resolving technical issues with Anesthesia equipmentProficiency in using diagnostic tools and test equipment for Anesthesia equipment.
Deliver training programs on a variety of Anesthesia machines, ventilators, and related accessories.
Participate in the development and implementation of new Biomed service protocols.
Knowledge of preventative maintenance procedures for Anesthesia machines, ventilators, and patient monitors.
Solid knowledge of computer-based technology and PC applications.
Understanding of relevant safety standards and regulations related to medical devices.
Customer oriented with experience and knowledge of Service or Helpdesk platforms.
