Janome America is a distributor of household and computerized sewing machines; a subsidiary of Janome Corporation, Tokyo, Japan, who are one of the world's largest manufacturers of home sewing machines and leaders and innovators in the home sewing industry.
Janome currently has a full time opening for a District Sales Manager in its Southwest Sales Territory.
This includes the states of CA, OR, NV, UT, AZ, HI.

The primary responsibility of this heavy travel position is to achieve a larger market share, create more brand awareness/loyalty and increase profit margins while selling more volume.
Requirements:
o High energy and good outlooko Enthusiasm o Good decision maker o Dependable o 70% Travel (2-3 weeks per month)o Self-starter/independent o Quick learner o Outside the box thinking, ideas and strategies to meet our customer needs necessary to place our product into the hands of the end usero Personal accountability o Face to face contact with customers on a regular basis o Ability to build relationships to be a resource and a partner to your customer Skills:
o Experienced presenter o Can overcome objections o Excellent account and territory management skillso Excellent follow up and follow through skillso Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite o Comfortable with client database software o Knowledge of sales strategies o Excellent closing skillso Merchandising skills
Experience:
o 5
years of progressive career sales growth in sales positions o Knowledge of business developmento Knowledge of a retail trade a plus o Previous experience selling to a dealer network is preferred o Experience selling tangible consumer products o Sewing machine industry experience preferred Education:
o Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience Position includes a base salary plus commission (annual total compensation averages in excess of $150K with the capacity to grow).
